I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2011
Interview
Took place at one of their locations in downtown Toronto. Good variety of questions. Typically starts off with general questions related to your resume and experience to learn more about you and your past experiences. There's also a case question, a set of behavioural, and then some general questions like "Why Deloitte?" or "Why Human Capital?" Interviewers were nice and encouraging. You will go through two interviews in the first round following this format, one after another, usually with consultant-level people handling one round and slightly more senior people handling the other (e.g. managers). It may be different if you go to a school where they do on-campus interviews though. Takes about 2 hrs (1 for each interview)
If you make it to the second round, the following week you will be invited to a dinner and then a second round of two interviews (an hour each) with a partner and senior manager(s).
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deloitte (Bengaluru) in Nov 2025
Interview
It was alright, but I wasn't prepared for the interview. The questions asked were mainly from my resume, and it was actually straightforward questions and if one were to prep a little before the interview it would be easy to crack the interview.
Behavioral interview with 2 consultants. Then case interview with 2 other consultanrs. Then partner interview.
Everything was in person. But now they have online interviews that are recorded. It shows you the Q then gives you 30 secs then you answer

This is followed by a face-to-face technical, panel or case study interview with the service line you are applying for. This is an in-depth interview and discussion regarding your technical and motivational fit for the role, team and firm.
