I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Family Video in Mar 2011
Interview
Interview lasted about 10 minutes, taking place in chairs set up by check out desk (while store was open). The interviewer was the only employee at the store at the time, so she had to keep getting up, taking care of customers etc. She only asked a few questions, mostly about my past experience. I got the feeling that her mind was made up as soon as she saw I was not a "20 something", and felt I was too old for the position.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Family Video (Nevada, MO) in Jul 2016
Interview
Very relaxed, friendly relatively short yet informative interview process.I was asked pertinent questions to the position and the hiring manager was very friendly, enthusiastic and interested in what I had to say. However, I am still interviewing. I passed the written test which was fairly easy but the math portion was not so easy. Have to get 70% to pass. I am scheduled for an interview next week with district mgr.
