What are working conditions like at AstraZeneca?

Very good working environment, nice offices, diversity and multinational

Too much workload/stress, limited career development

Good pay and benefits package, lovely workspace and facilities (when you are able to get a desk and parking space). The gym, bar and health centre are good perks.

Poor progression opportunities unless you shout the loudest. Competitive environment. Workloads are unbalanced across teams. Terrible location for the office on a practical level.

Good working environment, team atmosphere is nice, but since most of the good opportunities are parked under europe and america teams, limited progression opportunity for APAC, company tends to take europe opinions more seriously, despite APAC being the more performing team

Less opportunity in asia team

Good science and great facilities in terms of lab, plenty of passion towards the projects

Leadership is poor, managers communication is lacking and a lot of favouritism around teams. Building has neither enough parking spaces, toilets or desks.

The pay is in line with other global companies.

There isn't any real culture or psychological safety. Directors are allowed to be rude and dismissive.

Office conditions are not great, parking is a big problem for Cambridge offices although they want everybody in the office 3 days per week. Leadership is poor.

Wfh policy is not very flexible, current re- org not well planned, opportunities for promotion can be challenging to find sometimes
