Pension and fertility benefits are the biggest plus it’s a great entry level pharma company but not do much for experienced reps

Where do I start…. Great in diabetes but you can’t use that model across all disease states. HR is a Joke i could go on. Pay is low compared to other companies but they say it’s because of the pension and the stock and the annual company bonus but people have to live in the interim.

Management can sometimes be non sympathetic and you feel like a number. Also if you have a disability don’t expect to get the help you need or good accommodations . Eli Lilly has an extremely long way to go to provide an inclusive environment for individual with disability. I was made to feel like I have to mold to what they want instead of receiving the help I need. I seems that help is more available only to those with visible disabilities but not those with an invisible disability.

The workplace culture is practically non-existent. The level of toxicity rivals the worst of Bengaluru traffic. Leadership feels like a collection of misfits—ineffective and ill-suited for their roles. It's almost impressive how so many underqualified & egoistic individuals ended up becoming "leaders" in the same organization. Incompetence is masked with D&I. Most of the senior leaders would actually do well as politicians. Internal mobility and promotions - largely biased, with minimal focus on merit. People have mistaken Lilly India to be growing, the only thing growing here is dysfunction. If things continue as they are, the current leadership will easily run both the Bengaluru and the new Hyderabad office into the ground.

Lilly is great, decent pay, benefits and operates in a low cost state.

Senior managers can be awful. It’s hit or miss department and division to department and division. Take note Lilly doesn’t make the top 10 list anymore.
