      Pros

Great benefits, get a raise every year.

      Cons

Supervisors promote drama in the workplace, everyone will tell on you and you can’t trust anyone, Supervisors also make their own rules up. Once you become an operator it can take you years to even move out of the position. Shifts are 12hr you work holidays except Thanksgiving/ Christmas.

      THE MOST TOXIC WORKPLACE

      Pros

It is just the hybrid work

      Cons

The most toxic place I have worked in, political, no help from management, favoritisms in promotions, no clear guidelines on promotions, some positions are created eapecially for certain people, so that others have no chance if applying, sick culture which creates envy and backstabbing among colleagues, management taking credit for people's hard work minimizying their achivements. Don't ignore red flags at the interview like how do you handle a bad day or what other people think about you - you'll end up with a lot of bad days there. Cult culture, just the name is famous, inside it's all rotten, they don't care about people, just about money. Not recommended, stay away if you can. People that are there are brainwashed or know no better. Lots of useless projects that people need to get involved in for promotions, little efficiency. Lots of meetings that could be emails. Meetings from top management about how great they are and how much money they make - an insult to the people that get 1-2 % annual salary raise. Nobody wants to change anything there, those who'd like to change something have no chance. They will tell you how focused they are on process improvements and how they care about you and how great the Lilly family is, when in fact it is just words and nothing more. Authoritarian type of management that has no clue what the people in the teams are doing and give no guidance, work is also unfairly distributed in the team depending on how much the manager likes you. You can get promoted only if the manager will do something for you in this sense. Usually people do nothing for those who can't do something for them and do little but talk a lot about how much they did. Hardwork is not rewarded and there's overall no appreciation for people's work. At some point there is a feeling that people start degradating and don't learn anything new. You can learn just dirty office politics and a lot of very old inefficient processes which are of no help in other companies. No training to help in professional growth. There is just few weeks training at the beggining, which is made just to tick the box, don't expect to know the job after it. Stay away if you can, I wish someone would have warned me before, unforunately it was a waste of time and health.

      Pros

Had the best office, food and medical insurances.

      Cons

Average work life balance, below average pay and salary hikes. Growth is slow and the office culture is doped with inside politics.

      Pros

Company has an incredible amount of resources to make new medicines fast and encourages creative thinking and innovation in the process. Moreover, the pay, bonuses, annual raises and stock grants are amazing. We have both a 401k with matching up to 6% AND a pension. And I am able to have an extremely healthy work-life balance.

      Cons

Only downside is the promotion process is extremely competitive and can take up a lot of time.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great benefits and occasional stock shares also. As long as you reach expectations, you get at least a 50 cent raise and a bonus, both yearly. I only work half the year, it's a 2-2-3 schedule. The job security is great. The company goes above and beyond to make sure you know you are appreciated. Overtime is good, we get paid 2.5 times our regular pay on paid holidays. Pension is available after 5 years. The 401k match is very decent. Lilly has an amazing reputation, and makes phenomenal medicine. They're quite involved and helpful in the community. I enjoy my work, as it is meaningful.

      Cons

Manufacturing has its ups and downs, as does working in start-up. Quality of work culture and speed of career growth will depend on quality of management and team leads.

      2

      Cons

Slow progression. Mediocre salary and slow increase. Plenty of unhealthy office politics.
