How are senior leaders perceived at Fidelity Investments?

      Fidelity Investments reviews

      Great company

      Operations tax specialist
      Current employee
      Toronto, ON
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great firm, lots of benefits, good work life balance, great upper management.

      Cons

Not much it’s a grey firm

      Capital Markets

      Capital markets analyst
      Current employee
      Dublin, Dublin
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great company, fantastic culture, great benefits and excellent leadership

      Cons

NA - only thing I can say is it is a large company so you need to work hard and even better if you can find your niche to stand out

Amazing company for everyone except contractors.

      Talent acquisition partner
      Current contractor
      Westlake, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great work experience, beautiful campus, meaningful work

      Cons

You will likely be in this role for 5+ years and have zero growth, endless contracts if they dont convert you, no benefits, no wage increases and terrible 1st level leadership. Get candidates to drink the kool-aid while we go thirsty.

Great potential ruined by toxic politics and poor HR support

      Principal software engineer
      Former employee
      Boston, MA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good benefits but the toxic politics by higher management taken everything away

      Cons

      • Toxic political culture within the Asset Management division. • Even high-performing employees are subject to unfair treatment and poor reviews due to internal power dynamics. • Concerns escalated to HR and senior leadership were completely dismissed — both acted more like enablers than problem solvers. • HR is ineffective and not employee-focused; they protect toxic leadership rather than support fairness. • Wouldn’t recommend Asset management to any prospect employees .

      Great Culture

      Financial representative
      Current employee
      Houston, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great leadership, workplace culture, work/life balance, growth opportunities

      Cons

As in any corporate work environment, you cannot escape ego, politics, and occasional selfish persons without self awareness.

      Great company

      Vice president, financial consultant
      Current employee
      Boston, MA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Support, pay, leadership, customer first culture, benefits, flexibility

      Cons

      None I can think of

      Great place to work

      Data analyst
      Current employee
      Toronto, ON
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Office perks: cafe with barista made hot drinks, subsized restaurant quality breakfast and lunch; great work spaces; office events; evolving leadership; benefits; hybrid work environment

      Cons

Hard to find any real cons

Good pay and people, no flexibility or progress

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Decent base pay and very competitive benefits, seemingly more stability than public companies. I work with good people who are collaborative and pleasant to work with, and there’s room for growth if you are good at your role.

      Cons

Outdated technology and processes driven from out of date senior leadership and middle management who lack the technical skills and background to push forward. Ironically this issue will only be compounded by the recent decision to remove WFH choice and return to office, eliminating the work life balance many have grown accustomed to. Mid level managers and senior leadership who spend their days in meetings and “networking” in office will certainly stay until retirement, but fresh gen z and millennial technology talent with the expertise of this new world will abandon the rigid structure for greener pastures as soon as the economy recovers. Right now everyone is too scared of being laid off to speak up, but the market will recover one day.
