Job security, low pay, terrible benefits compared to other aerospace companies in the area

Working at Honeywell Aerospace has been awesome at the South Bend location as a project engineering intern in the friction controls group. The management is super nice, the benefits are great as they paid for my travel to the location from central Ohio and they are paying for a hotel for the summer! Corporate does a GREAT job of pushing good values and helping people move up and around if they desire.

I am an extrovert, and it has been VERY hard adjusting to a place where I am stuck in a cubicle, and no one seems to want to talk for very long, and I have no friends outside of work. If you are traveling from far, I suggest you get involved in community as soon as possible, such as a local church or YMCA, to avoid loneliness if you are like me. I wish there was a better community in the office.
