      Pros

Great benefits, awesome people, well balance hybrid work, free gourmet coffee, fast hiring process

      Cons

events are not very well planned, some buildings are very old and need a facelift, still needs work on diversity

      Pros

one of the most employee friendly companies I have ever worked for. People are driven and yet there is time for everything including bonding with your team. There are aggressive goals but the environment is not toxic to get there.

      Cons

The hiring process is very slow. Would really help the company as well as the candidate.

Intuit Annual Employee Awards genuinely reflect the company's outstanding culture

      Pros

IThe Intuit Annual Employee Awards is a true testament to the company's outstanding culture. This event serves as a remarkable platform for appreciating and recognizing the hard work and dedication that our employees consistently demonstrate. I am deeply impressed by the jury's selection process, which is exceptionally fair and promotes a culture of peer recognition. This ensures that our employees feel valued and acknowledged by their colleagues, fostering an inclusive and motivating work environment

      Cons

All departments, including Product, should welcome the change and be given equal emphasis in developing their skill sets to be prepared for the future

Don't believe the hype - culture has taken a nosedive

      Former employee

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Stocks - still pretty good. General pay, especially if you're a lateral hire is well above market standards. Interview process is unique and very nice, although you will mostly get incompetent interviewers.

      Cons

Internal politics and way too much importance on 'image' for GTPW rankings. Work culture is atrocious to say the least. Open bias and favoritism is rampant, with zero fear of consequences - there isn't really any reverse feedback collected for managers (there is a pulse survey, but it's largely inconsequential). Work in india location is mostly pedantic and throwaway work that American teams don't want to do (the leadership there is a lot more bullish and actually fights and succeeds in getting work for the team). Here the leadership lacks any kind of spine, right down from the director. Indian middle managers here are mostly either petty, small minded or downright incompetent. Since there is a lack of good work here, managers depend on factors like diversity numbers to stay relevant - this in turn leads to alarming levels of bias and favoritism. Staff engineers are repeatedly asked not to downrate certain hires, but pick somebody else instead.

      Best company I've worked for

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Intuit QuickBooks is by far the best company I've worked for in my 8+ years of career experience. The hiring process was quite thorough, but it's very obvious why it's worth it. I met really great people at work who I genuinely love to become friends with and spend time outside of the office. I get that this could be different depending on which team you're in, but I was very lucky that I was a part of an amazing team and had such a great manager and mentor.

      Cons

Conversions for contract roles to full time seems to be rare these days, and your direct manage or even several levels above would have little to no say in the matter.

      OK job

      Tax expert

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Fully remote, laptop provided. Good team members and very helpful. Opportunities to learn new skills.

      Cons

Low payrate for the experience required. No personal approach during hiring process. Too long initial interview, which you have to record and send. Training is not very relevant to what you have to do and very long. No training on the main software used to prepare tax returns. Forced to take calls with clients for the last week or two, with no options for other work. Can be asked to do odd tasks, not agreed in advance prior to job start.

Thank you for sharing your experience as a Tax Expert. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the remote flexibility, the support from your team, and the opportunities to learn new skills. We also hear your concerns about compensation, the hiring and training process, and the clarity of role expectations. We understand how important it is to feel prepared and supported, especially in a seasonal role. Your feedback about training relevance, software onboarding, and task assignments is valuable, and we’re actively reviewing how we can improve these areas for future tax seasons. If you’re open to it, we invite you to also share your feedback via HR Connect, and we’ll ensure it is shared with our People Experiences team. We appreciate your input—it helps us create a better experience for our experts and the customers they serve.

      Cons

      Pros

Easy interview process, making it possible for sub-par talent to sneak in.

      Cons

Bad managers all around. Terrible tech stack (despite the claims of working on cutting edge tech). HR and Mgmt is always out to get you and its a demotivating environment. The culture is toxic and rewards subservience, created in large part by mid-level managers and directors.

      Pros

Good team camaraderie. Great work life balance. Quality support throughout hiring process.
