I'm extremely disappointed with my experience, and if I had the option, I would rate them a zero. The job goals, such as making 60 calls and submitting 5 applications per job site, were easily achievable. However, the major issue lies in the promises made during the hiring process.
Initially, they assured me that after successfully completing a 90-day probationary period, Manpower would extend a permanent position offer. Despite my efforts, when I inquired about a pay increase during onboarding, I was informed that everyone receives the same rate, regardless of location or experience. They emphasized that post-probation, I would become eligible for a pay raise, benefits, and bonuses. Additionally, during the interview, they mentioned Manpower's commitment to covering college tuition.
However, after the 90-day period, during which my performance exceeded expectations, I was informed that the transition to permanent status is solely based on "seniority," and benefits are reserved for permanent employees only. Furthermore, college tuition assistance is limited to full-time permanent employees or becomes available after 6 months to a year. Additionally, there were no bonuses after the initial 90 days.
If you're in urgent need of a job, this opportunity might suffice. However, if you seek stability and opportunities for growth, this company falls short of its promises.
