Does Northwell Health pay for a gym membership?
Pros
The only good thing about the job and the company is the generous PTO that you get. For analyst level, you get 27 PTO days that you accrue annually and you can use it for any reason (sick, personal & vacation). They also rollover to the next year if you don't use it during the current year. Health benefits are good and cheap since its an healthcare company. Good work/life balance.
Cons

Only one main dining area in the entire building and it gets super crowded especially during the winter time. The selection of food in the cafeteria is very poor so most people have to get out of their way to drive and buy food. The gym is almost non-existent. There's no free and open space to sit and relax, most people go stand on the hallways or go outside to the parking lot.... Also, there's not that much to do after work since its in Long Island. People usually just go home. - Not many employee events to encourage and motivate employees to come to work. - No upward mobility or growth, takes years to be promoted to the next lvl. - Office technology is outdated. - No work from home option, only if weather is bad. - Work is tedious and repetitive - Office politics - Pay is low
Advice to Management
Please provide more events for employees so that they feel appreciated for the work they do. Upgrade software tools to be on-par with industry competitors. Provide a more lenient dress code such as implementing jeans Friday. Pay attention to employee efforts and promote or give raises more often.
