      Pros

Autonomy, building your own business, renewals, residual investment income (after a couple years), great community and family orientations, good benefits (401k and pension based off insurance productivity), only have to be in the office 51% of the time, etc

      Cons

Have to be a go getter, 100% commission based (but they do have incentives to generate income your first year).

      Cons

the workload was complicated and complex, especially if you are coming from a background without finance. you must be comfortable working in a call center environment (talking at least 6 hours in a phone queue) and handling tough situations.

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee
      Milwaukee, WI
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Residual benefits of the "good old days" like free lunches, collaborative culture, midwestern vibes. Plus beautiful campus, worldclass facilities, great perks.

      Cons

The company has gone downhill since the pandemic and it hasn't found its footing yet. It is very sad because it was a true once in a lifetime gem of an employer before. From a CEO succession sweepstakes that was too public way too soon, to other C-suite sweepstakes they mistakenly modeled after the CEO one, and all of the organizational and behavioral turmoil that comes with that (as you can imagine) - to lack of clarity and steadfastness with their strategies related to return to campus, remote working, operating budgets, operating models, digital strategy, hiring stops and starts, marketing strategy, etc, etc.
