      Pros

Great long-term career opportunities. Fast paced and no day looks the same. Get to work with great people. Good pay, excellent benefits, plenty of PTO, and an amazing campus at headquarters with subsidized lunches brought in daily.

      Cons

The fast pace isn't for everyone. It can definitely be a challenge at times. Growth and change is not easy and Paycom is always growing and always changing. This can be considered a pro if you like that environment but, it can be a con if you don't.

      Pros

Paycom was an excellent place to work. The bonus program was nice if you stick around long enough to build it up. They offer catered $5 lunches every day with multiple options each day. They also have $1 health insurance. They appreciate hard work and make you feel important to the team.

      Cons

The PTO policy could be a little more generous, but there are plenty of other great benefits to make up for it.

      Hypocritical company

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Decent benefits and pay, a lot of good people work at the company.

      Cons

Upper management is very hypocritical when it comes to caring about employees. The company boasts about having the best benefits and caring so much about their employees but their actions say otherwise. They rarely let us work from home during inclement weather, even though we have the resources to do so. They recently shorted paid maternal leave from 12 to 8 weeks and didn’t tell us; we are now required to submit a doctors note for an additional two weeks of time off (unpaid if you don’t have PTO) for “family bonding”. For years Paycom had Flex Time, which allowed employees to be flexible with their schedule for doctors appointments, childcare, and minor emergencies. The CEO recently caught wind of this and had NO IDEA his own company had this implemented and immediately got rid of it, which put all of his employees in tough situations.

At Paycom, we take pride in our employee-centric culture and award-winning benefits. We understand that our employees value these benefits, and we're committed to maintaining them. In fact, our paid medical maternal leave has increased, and we continue to offer support to our team members during significant life events. We prioritize open communication and transparency in our decision-making processes, and while we understand that our team members may have different experiences, we trust that being on campus unites our teams by providing a supportive work environment, ensuring all employees are best equipped with the resources needed to succeed. We strongly encourage you to reach out to your leader or our team at hrmgmt@paycomonline.com so that we can learn more about your concerns and experience.

      Pros

Collaborative and dynamic work environment: The work that we do revolves around continuous improvement and team work. Fortunately the people we hire are passionate about supporting one another and serving clients. Commitment to innovation: Paycom is always pushing the boundaries of what's possible in payroll and HR technology, making it an exciting place to work for people who are passionate about innovation. Opportunities for growth and professional development: With a company that's constantly innovating and expanding, there are plenty of chances to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities. Comprehensive benefits package: Paycom offers a wide range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, to help employees achieve their personal goals. If you put in the work for 8 hours, you likely will have the luxury of leaving it at the office.

      Cons

High expectations and fast-paced environment: With a company that's growing and innovating rapidly, the pace can be intense, and expectations can be high. This might be overwhelming for some employees. Steep learning curve: Paycom's products and services are complex and constantly evolving, which can make it challenging for new employees to get up to speed. Strong training programs support this challenge. Constant change: Paycom is a company that's always innovating and adapting to new technologies and market trends. While this can be exciting, it can also be unsettling for employees who prefer a more stable and predictable work environment. Some roles may involve repetitive tasks: While many roles at Paycom involve complex problem-solving and innovation, some roles might involve more repetitive tasks, such as data entry or customer support.

      Pros

Lots of change if you enjoy always doing something different. Gives you excel experience if you don’t have any as most roles use it. You will learn how to balance a lot on your plate with short turnaround times.

      Cons

Little to no support from anyone in leadership, they are too scared to get in trouble/fired. Lots of favoritism around people being promoted to management, some departments will promote to management without degrees while others are told they need schooling. No longer a place devoted to professional growth, moved more to a call center setting over the last 2 years. There’s some new hire training, but most of the training happens when you have clients and you are expected to pay attention in class and still make sure your clients are taken care of. Most of the perks we were sold years ago have been removed and they are planning for more, like a reduction to PTO hours.

Great Pay, Great Benefits, Great Company

      Business Outlook

      Pros

-Company provides competitive pay -Paycom provides a wide-ranging suite of benefits at an affordable cost and is always looking to diversify the benefits portfolio and negotiate costs on behalf of employees. -Coming from the service industry, Paycom has provided generous PTO options, fair compensation, and schedule stability in comparison with what I'm used to. I appreciate being able to have nights/weekends/holidays off and the flexibility that the PTO policy provides.

      Cons

At times, there can be multiple department-wide initiatives going at the same time. Each of them is important and adds value to the client experience and promotes Paycom's business model. However, it can be difficult to fully invest in these initiatives while taking care of clients' troubleshooting needs and their specific list of priorities, outside of strategic company initiatives.
