Good people, pay decent, job is easy, consistent hours
Cons
Hard to become an official employee versus just being a temp employee (it can take years), no extra benefits for temp employees, mundane tasks day to day, upper management likes to make surprise changes now that effect peoples jobs and incomes.
Good benefits, although pre-acquisition benefits were better. Transparent about where the company stands, and good performance metrics.
Cons
Wish they put more premium in retaining talent than letting them leave. There were too many changes in the last couple of years for our brand and it definitely turned off some long term employees, it stopped feeling like it was the same brand we've been working for.
They have great benefits for the studio manager and they unusually always work around your schedule.
Cons
They run staff on the bare minimum they must have you should always have at least two people in a studio at all times. However Shutterfly sees differently they run you on a skeleton crew as much as possible. Also the rate of pay is too low for today's times.
Most roles are being moved to India, 17 developers laid off in US in February. Middle managers are pretty basic, any independent thinking or initiative strongly criticized.
