Pros

- sabbatical every 5 years is a great perk - 4 weeks of vacation for a large group of professionals - transparent compensation programs - encourages lateral movement for development - ability to work from home

Does Sun Life offer dental insurance?

Pros

Health and dental benefits are competitive, though you'd expect them to be a lot better when you work in the insurance industry.

Cons

It's a difficult organization for most people when it comes to career growth. The most qualified candidates are often rejected for promotions or roles in other departments. I witnessed a lot of unprofessional behaviour from senior leaders - male and female - including storming out of meetings, swearing, and throwing junior employees under the bus instead of taking accountability for issues.
