What is health insurance like at Symmetry Financial Group?

Pros

Phenomenal leadership and top notch culture! No one made me or paid me to leave this review. This opportunity has permanently changed the financial landscape for my family’s future! You get out what you put in, so give it your ALL!

Cons

None that the owners are not currently working to improve or eliminate. Let me make something very, very clear for anyone reading these reviews. This is not a JOB, it’s a business opportunity. You get paid what you’re worth based off of your hunger, humility and hard work ethic. If your looking for a salary, dental plan and crappy health insurance only to prayerfully make $15-$20hr then please do us and yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is a business for anyone but not for everyone. Some people will give their previous employer 40-50 hours a week for years and walk away broke and broken. They then come here and put in half the dials, work half the hours with half the heart and expect a full time pay. Unfortunately these people quit on themselves and their goals in 3-6 weeks.

Advice to Management

Keep leading by example, growing daily and investing ALL of yourself into your people. Always be willing to fight for the highest possible good in the people you lead and serve!

Does Symmetry Financial Group offer unlimited time off?

Pros

Very Flexible Schedule and "potential" Unlimited income.

Cons

YOU MUST LOVE BEING ON THE PHONE. this job requires many, many, many hours on the phone calling individuals who are typically upset because you are is the "27 person" calling them this week. There are a lot of people making a bunch of money in this business (in upper management) I was NOT one of them. If you are a new agent "they" are excited and help you. However, you BETTER get it quickly, because they will drop you like a hot potato if you do not perform as "they" think you should.

Advice to Management

Don't forget about "all" of your employees, even if some need a little more help than others. Make sure you tell the NEW AGENTS about the "negative side" to this business as well. AKA; charge backs.

What is the retirement plan like at Symmetry Financial Group?

Pros

Work your own hours. Stay at home job 60% of the time. Very positive environment. Great conventions to travel and meet people. Potential to recruit everyone you know. When your up - feels amazing to be there. And once you take a turn, well then, see below...

Cons

Let me explain to you - that - it pains me to write this. This company took me a long way. But what I never realized, is if you compaire them to other brokers, they are low on the compensation scale. Start at 60% - I have had offers to start at 70% and even 85%. If you don't like running a team and recruiting, then don't bother. If you manage to write enough business to make a living, you need to get help - you would need to hire people to set appointments. Your really running your entire business and your upline will give you the moral boost. The Con is the debt - you will end up going bankrupt, owe the IRS - and probably be reported to Vector and go bust. They pressure you into taking out more lead orders, it gets expensive. Ah - you best hope nobody charges back a deal. The business is a doggy dog world. The guys who recruit are at the top of the chain. The sad truth is I made my upline thousands, when I was going broke, he wouldn't loan me a dime to save my life. I was selling everything I own, and taking out more debt to pay for leads. I was a great agent, above average - in fact I made it much farther then 80% of the new hires. No benefits, No 401k, No insurance, once you pay for leads and benefits, you best hope your buying the $30 dollar leads to get some good clients. It is really hard, I think if you make it, you probably know how to run a business - not for an average Joe in my opinion.

Advice to Management

Increase the starting pay to 65% contracted rate - offer 50% pay on health insurance. Then provide travel and conference passes for a lower rate. Promotion should be adjusted to a better level. You should make it clear how many people have attempted this, and failed. After that - you got a very solid business. Just don't tell them to chase your dreams without understanding the consequences of failure. It's not like you can get a new job after that - your probably going to be bankrupt first. Selling that dream, you might want to offer more and be compassionate.

No benefits, No 401k, No insurance, once you pay for leads and benefits, you best hope your buying the $30 dollar leads to get some good clients.
