Structure & Predictability Clear job expectations, set hours, and routines provide stability and reduce the stress of decision-making around work. Career Growth Opportunities Training programs, promotions, mentorship, and skill development are often available within larger companies.

      Limited Control or Flexibility Fixed hours, little say in major decisions, and less freedom to work on your own terms. Office Politics or Toxic Culture Navigating internal politics, difficult managers, or negative work environments can impact mental health. Job Insecurity Even with stable income, layoffs, restructuring, or poor company performance can lead to sudden unemployment. Limited Creativity or Autonomy

      Store management seems to do bare minimum. They look for numbers, lack coaching and leadership. This seems to be a constant theme. Too many changes in procedures, and preparation and support for these changes may not be worth the pay.

      - Salary is slightly better than BMO - Some colleagues are friendly and kind if you are lucky

      Cons

      - Poor management. There is a coaching session with manager only when you make a mistake. No coaching or guidelines for career or potential work - Give a lot of pressure!! It seems like managers are waiting to catch my mistakes. Not sure other branches - If you are from other banks, you are not going to be welcomed. Please stay in your bank. - Horrible environment to ask questions. Managers will feel you are way behind. - During probation, you can't use your vacation even you will feel hesitant to use sick day if you are sick.
