What is paid time off like at WIS International?

Pros

-Supervisors give you a ride home if an inventory shift finishes late -Very flexible in terms of work schedule and booking time off -I would recommend it for students or people that have children in school and need to pick them up by the time school ends because of management's flexibility

Cons

-Work hours are not set so you're never certain when a count may finish -Some months are low volume in terms of work hours because companies are not doing inventory as much

Advice to Management

Management in our office is cooperative and understanding as long as you're honest with them.

Very flexible in terms of work schedule and booking time off

Does WIS International offer dental insurance?

Pros

Health insurance, dental and vision, job security.

Cons

Long hours. No consideration for employee needs. Refusal to accommodate seizure needs due to the lack of an MRI (cost too high cause the insurance sucks). Long commute times. Uncertainty on how long you will be gone. Hazardous work enviroment. Stamina tested. Flithy and tedious stores like Lowes or Dirt Cheap are often clients. Miserable working conditions. No air conditioning most of the time. I have to bring my portable fan. Every customer assumes you work there.

Advice to Management

Know when to cancel your stores. Listen to your employees. Let them unionize cause they NEED it!

What are perks and other benefits like at WIS International?

Pros

Nothing good about the job. Worst job I’ve ever had.

Cons

Everything! Inconsistent hours/work, a lot of “mandatory” jobs that are over 2 hours drive. No mileage pay, but they have a company van if you don’t mind carpooling with some weird, creepy people. Can’t even have your lunch in a location you did inventory, must immediately leave the building, not allowed to shop at stores during lunch/breaks, and cant use breakrooms at stores so no fridge, better pack some icepacks in your lunch bag thats sitting in your car. Very short notice on jobs and they will cancel an inventory at the last second when you’re at the location and then tell you to leave only to call you back to go to another location in the area after you’ve already left. No drug testing so you’re working with people who are high and look tweaked out and lenient background checks so probably working with ex-cons, shady people. You can drive over an hour to a job site and be there as little as 2 hours or over 10 hours, you never know, just depends on how many people there are and how fast they are. Minimum wage pay, no benefits, management likes to play favorites. You only get one day of training and you’re expected to know how to work your machine and do it quickly.

Advice to Management

Drug test your workers. Care about your workers well being, pay your employees mileage/drive time pay.

Minimum wage pay, no benefits, management likes to play favorites.
