What is the salary like at WIS International?

When RGIS was bought out by WIS, I went from salary with overtime to salary, still working overtime, and ended up with a massive pay cut. In that time, we were short staffed which led to increased workload on areas of the business best suited to my subordinates, thus creating a situation where I could not adequately focus on tasks I was best suited to perform

The job itself is fairly easy to learn and manage on a day-to-day basis, and the pay is decent for the work expected. Management was helpful and pleasant.

One issue is the expectation to reach a specialist level within 90 days, which sounds reasonable on paper but is difficult in practice due to inconsistent scheduling. On one occasion I went over 20 days without a single shift during my first 90 days. Without consistent hands-on experience, it’s incredibly hard to meet performance goals or gain the knowledge needed to advance. The lack of schedule stability makes it feel like you’re set up to fail, despite the effort you may be putting in.

the job is fun in my opinion and good pay but the hours aren't good unless you do double shifts with 3 hours of sleep, management not great

Hourly pay is better than most entry level. Interesting because different location every job. Scheduling flexibility.

Inconsistent total hours/week, job can range from 2-8+ hours and you don't really know ahead of time, can be a lot of unreimbursed travel.

If you're a student, this job is perfect for you. They are very flexible with your schedule as long as you show up to work and call off ahead of time.

Starting pay is very low at $17 an hour. The company is big enough to raise the minimum wage to $18-$19 starting.

Request time off unlimited, works around some availability, great for students, usually very early morning shifts, transport for locations over 1 hour away, some room for higher pay and advancement, easy work

Part time only, no benefits, seasonal, heavy favoritism with in family hiring, heavy tolerance for sexual harassment, puts people on do not rehire list for petty reasons, low communication, culture of gossip tolerance, supervisory roles not worth the pay increase due to workload and stress level, near impossible to move up to a full time position with benefits unless you are related to the DM or have a close relationship with them, manager reduces hours for petty reasons, management keeps employees who record and harass and use hate speech towards fellow employees and spread rumors and gossip, no loyalty to employees who have worked there for years or who play by the rules, rules are enforced only when management is in the mood and on people they don’t like,

The management and other employees are all very friendly and willing to help you out whenever you have questions. The work itself is fairly easy. You can pretty much work as many or as little hours as you’d like.its one of those jobs that you get out of it what you put into it.

Some of the equipment is old and/or broken so as a new hire it’s sometimes difficult to find one that works properly so that you can scan quickly to get bumped up to the next level. The more tenured employees like to hang onto the good equipment.

low pay, no breaks and rarely lunch breaks, no communication from upper management, they promote pay increases but you never get it, long hours, big time favortism,

It’s is an Introvert friendly environment

The pay is not that great

WIS International offers an easy job with good pay and a supportive team. The work environment is positive, making it enjoyable to come in each day.

One downside is the travel requirements, as it can be challenging to be away from home often.
