I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AECOM in Aug 2011
Interview
I was referred by a current employee. It's all about networking. I was working for a city entity and got to know consultants through my work. One of the City employees who knew me moved over to AECOM and got me into contact with a project manager. The day of our one on one, I dressed professionally in a suit, which was appropriate. I showed up 30 minutes early. I brought a sample of my work and my resume, even though they did not ask me for it. I was prepared with pertinent examples of job experience. I recommend fully researching the position and getting into contact with an alumnus or someone else on the inside.
The interview was conducted in Chinese and was very quick. Half of the time was spent on questions about my portfolio. The process was easier than I thought. They asked about 5 questions.

Really lovely experience, very chill and not stressful at all. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer questions. Was shown around the office and got to look at work they were doing.
