I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY)
Interview
Not hard interview. I applied on campus career fair and got email several weeks after. They Asked mostly behavior questions and 2 technical questions. Since I don't have any experience in actuarial position, they focus on why I want to change the job to actuarial analyst. 2 round One-one interview process with one senior analyst and one VP.
HR call then meet with team members. Overall mostly behavioral questions, never got any technical questions. They seem to be more interested in cultural fit rather than technical skills. Very causal overall.
I applied online. I interviewed at AIG (New York, NY) in Dec 2023
Interview
Casual and efficient. Screening call was casual: asking basic information of you and your experience and telling you about the position. In the next interviews they gave more role specific questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical Skills like programming languages and proficiency in them
Quick Phone interview , just the basic, ask why do you think you suit the job, what’s your advantage compared to other candidates, and if willing to relocate. Didn’t get further with the process.
