Interview
Applied through Careerbuilder. Got an email a few days later from the DM in my area telling me to go to a specific store to fill out a paper application. I did that, then had a mini interview with the Store Manager and a quick store walkthrough. Got called a few days after that by the DM to set up an interview. He pretty much just asked why I would want to work at Aldi, and what I knew about the company. He did seem very pleased that I told him I wanted to work my way up to management. He said he would be calling within a week if I made it to the next round of interviews. He called two days later for another interview, and I went in the next day. He told me that he was offering me the position, filled out forms for background check and ordered shirts, and then I left to take my drug test. The whole process took maybe 2 weeks? All I am waiting on now is my results to come back and I start as soon as they are in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They seemed to put a lot of emphasis on questions relating to drug/background. He asked me at least 3 times if anything would come back on my background check, and if I had ever done drugs-even in high school. Almost like he was trying t get me to crack under pressure, which wasn't going to happen as I have nothing to hide. I thought it a bit strange to be asked over and over about it.
Group interview, 7am. Took a brief tour of the store, manager asked questions throughout. Speak up and answer questions during the tour. Then pulled into offices separately for 10-15 minute interviews.
Not difficult at all. There is a two step interview process where the first one you meet with the manager and the second you meet with the general district manager.

Interview
Management completely disorganized didn't know they set up "group" interviews. It wasn't group it was a 1 on 1 ...2 minute conversation. Recieved a denial email wow you made a decision after 2 minutes. This company is a joke
