I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T (Memphis, TN) in Jul 2012
Interview
My application was submitted around June 1, 2012. I completed all of the steps online quickly and didn't receive a call until around June 15, 2012. Once I got the call, everything moved along. I was advised to take a drug test and then a Mechanical test at an assigned testing center. It took 3 weeks after that though and I was invited to a Realistic Job Preview which was was a general job explanation and then a 1 on 1 interview. I received the next call around July 1, 2012, when I was offered the job and general insurance, salary, etc. information. In that call, I accepted the job and was given information to attend training in Nashville, TN, August 10, 2012. It is a 7 week program, most of which, is in Nashville.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most questions are very simple. There are some that are geared directly to the technical field though. For instance: "When have you encountered a situation where you've had to deal with a difficult customer? How did you defuse the situation?" Like I said, most of it is simple though.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AT&T (San Antonio, TX) in Nov 2015
Interview
The interview process didn't take long at all..I took maybe 4 assessments and you'll know if you passed because they'll send you an invitation for an interview. It started out in a group setting where they spoke about the job, training etc etc. Then it followed by a one on one. Which there was basically no long talks just answered a few questions and that was it. I did the interview a week ago and I'm still awaiting on a phone call or email!
