      Intern Interview

      Feb 10, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at AT&T in Jan 2021

      Interview

I applied end of November and I was invited to record a video online. It was 5 behavioral questions. Then in mid-January, a recruiter emailed me and invited me for a second round of interviews over the phone. It was all behavioral questions. After that, I was invited to a group presentation in which they were talking about AT&T culture, benefits, pay, etc. and I could ask questions. Following that presentation, I received a form asking me for my preferences regarding location and internship assignments (e.g. marketing, finance, etc.). I got my offer beginning of February.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. Tell us about a time where a unique skill or attribute you possess significantly helped your team reach its goals. Describe your contribution and the end result.
 2. 2. Tell me about a time when you were part of a team where things did not go so smoothly as planned. Describe the situation and the role you played within the team. How could it have gone smoother? 3. Tell me about a time where you saw an opportunity to make an improvement and took the initiative to do so. What steps did you take to implement your idea and what impact did your idea have? 4. Tell me about a recent experience where you had to drastically shift the way you did work. Describe the situation and detail specifically what you did to adapt to this change. What methods or tools, if any, did you use in your adaptation? 5. Tell us about a time when you were challenged to learn something new that was outside of this comfort zone. What were some of the struggles you faced and how did you achieve the results?

      Interview

Smooth and comfortable. The interviewers were quite knowledgeable and interested in what I had to day. The questions were not ambiguous and were clear, concise and easy to understand. Expectations for the internship were clearly discussed and I was given a chance to ask important questions too.

      Application

      I applied online. I interviewed at AT&T

      Interview

I completed two stages of the interview process- a one-on-one interview with a recruiter and a written test. I was removed from consideration after the second stage, the written test.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The initial interview stage was very relaxed, I told the recruiter about my plans for the upcoming semester and what I thought I could provide for the company during my role. I learned that there are three interview stages for the position I applied for- the initial interview, a written test, and a roundtable interview with several evaluators.
