Applied through school and got an interview from the company. It consisted of a basic chemistry test and a few basic interview questions, nothing out of the ordinary. The owner was nice and respectful throughout the process.

Very quick, very easy. Call for an interview, then if you do well they will hire on the spot. There is no drug test and there wasn't even a background check for me. I was given a 16 question chemistry test and then she asked me what classes I was taking and planning on taking.

All chemistry you learn in honors chemistry. My friend and I took it in 2009 and the test was pretty hard, but friend we saw take it afterwards had a much easier version that was mostly just converting units and making reagents. Make 5L of a reagent with x molarity. The only questions were just MxL=MxL. If you got an A in chemistry it will be easy as hell, if you didn't get an A you really shouldn't be applying to a pharmaceutical lab as a chemist.

I scheduled an interview through phone. I had to take a chemistry test in order to work in the laboratory. The test consists of 12 questions and you need to get about 8 of them right. After the test, she interviews you to see your interests and to get to know you better. The boss is tolerant and lenient in schedule.
