It was a pleasant experience to interview with Agate Software. The first phone call consisted of mostly workplace related questions to see how you will fit into their culture. The interviewer had respectful mannerisms and was a true professional. The next phone call was a technical interview. The style was conversational. However, you should still be able to speak to your experience with their technologies. I was not asked to do a coding challenge. I appreciate their respect for an applicants time. However, I asked if I could email over some code that I'd done in the past. This seemed to help my application. If you have code, be sure to show them. The final round was going to be an in-person interview / building tour but unfortunately I had already accepted an offer from another local company and had to decline.
