I was quite surprise to get their interview invitation since I'm located in Jakarta and the vacancy were in Bangkok, so I thought it was only for local talent but still I just hit the apply button. So when they emailed me, I was quite happy and expecting that soon I'm working and move to another country.
So I get their email confirmation, but it was from the team content leader. Well actually it was sounds wrong because, based on my experience, the initial email supposed to send from their HR. But then I found out their HR email confirmation in the D-day of our meeting by Skype call, they had a new recruitment system and seems like their venture are not well familiar with it yet.
OK. I got the Skype interview by Monday, it was took like 30 minutes, so the role will be more responsible for upcoming and ongoing project related to their new image guideline across ventures. If I compare with my previous two interview in Booking & Expedia, this interview was a little bit odd, the interviewer did not ask a very detail question, just like common and regular interview question but she's nice during the call.
By the end of the call she said that their HR will send me test, I thought it will be more like personality test but later on I found out that it was more complex than that, so the test were "Personality questionnaire, several reasoning tests, including logical, verbal, numerical, and deductive reasoning" it took nearly 3 hours to complete and I was trying to had an exercise before conducting the test. But i realize that I only pass 50% of the test. Once i was afraid that i will not get into the next step with this kind of situation and yes the prediction was true, I got their email by Monday and said that they decide to select other candidate (But still don't really know the real reason, whether it was because my test result or no)
