Applied for position A, HR recruiter contacted and suggested that position B might fit better.
After the phone interview, the recruiter said that he would forward my resume to the hiring manager, and arrange another interview afterwards.
However, I've never been contacted even since.
(found out that position B is not available any more 3 days after the phone interview, so guess that they've already found someone to fill the role before my phone interview)
