I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I interviewed in Los Angeles at a hotel near LAX . It was a very long day and a long wait but there were probably 70 people there for the interview. I first had a group interview where they asked us to get into groups of 5-6 and gave us a question to answer and collectively we all answered and some individual answers as well. Then we waited around for a few hours socializing and people were being called for the 1 on 1 interview. I had 2 on 1 and it was very positive. After that, we waited in a room and they started calling peoples names and they would leave the room. some were not hired and some (like myself) were told that they were hired and to go into another room where others who were hired were.

I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
