I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Northbrook, IL) in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied Online, got called in for a interview 2 weeks after. Only one interview that was personality based. Two interviewers. Two challenge questions given less than 5 mins to think about and do. Why this position? question.
One challenge was a stat sheet and wanted your observations. Their questions were made to see how you think and how technical you can be.
First part of the interview someone who is currently working in a similar position explains a bit about the company and what they do and how everything works.
- Applied through a program for minority college students
- Was invited to a 75-minute interview that was broken into two rounds (both with two individuals in each round)
- First round was presenting a case study I had compiled before the interview
- Second round was more general behavioral questions

Question 1
Case study that was provided beforehand; just general behavioral questions
Pretty easy process. Did 3 interviews and mainly behavioral type questions. Research the company and be prepared to talk about past experiences and how you could contribute for the specific role. Everyone was extremely kind and friendly.

Interview
Virtual interview process that can be completed on your own time. Very user friendly platform. There were multiple questions all recorded separately so you weren’t just talking for the entire process, there were breaks to refocus.
