Interview
I applied through LinkedIn Job Post (staffing services use LinkedIn a lot to collect resumes these days) and got requested for interview a week later. The position is for NYC office. The first round is a video interview consisting of 3 questions- what does AlphaSights do, what other kinds of jobs was I looking for, tell about myself. After the video interview, I was told that the company is interested in me for a 2nd round interview with HR (or more like an outside staffing company). In the end, they said oh my career goals weren't in line with what the company was looking for blahblahblah. They just don't hire international students. Period!

Very easy basic questions. The company is not open-minded enough to accept employees of a different nationality.
Smooth process, first phone calls then zoom interview everyone was very nice and explained 1 person and then 2 people next round was very easy and comfortable would reccomend applying and seeing how you feel

What was the most challenging thing you had to do?
30min interview fairly relaxed. Mainly behavioural questions and talking about yourself. 1 question at the end about what you understand the company to do. The interviewer was friendly and helpful. It is optional whether to have your camera on or not.
