Overall, the Amazon interview process for a Software Development Engineer was an intense but extremely structured experience. It was a true test of both my technical foundation and my ability to think like an Amazonian.
The entire process, from the initial application to the final decision, took about six weeks, which felt fast considering the size of the company

The interview process consisted of an online assessment followed by two technical interview rounds and one behavioral round. The technical rounds focused on Data Structures, Algorithms, Java, and problem-solving skills. The behavioral round covered Amazon Leadership Principles and past project experiences. Had a screening from recruiter, then a follow up phone interview.
Had been asked to take an assessment and I flunked it.
I had hard time managing the time in 45 min window.
