I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Amazon in Aug 2013
Interview
Interview took place via phone, as I was living at a great distance from the States. The interviewer was very thorough and detailed in her questions, yet made me feel comfortable all the while. Didn't get an offer, even though my experience and skills qualified me for the position. I simply wasn't able to meet the geographical requirements of the position. The interviewer asked me to recontact her once I return stateside.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England)
Interview
Standard behavioral “loop” (multiple back to back interviews) where interviewers probe to see if you are aligned with leadership principles and can adequately speak to them. There were zero surprises, advice would be to be yourself, for these roles they are looking for a particular skillset and if you have it, it will manifest in your honest answers.
