I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Jacksonville, FL) in Sep 2020
Interview
All questions are based on Amazon’s 14 leadership principles. All questions are scenario-based linked to the 14 leadership principles, so be prepared. 3-5, back to back 45 minute interviews. Due to COVID-19, all of my interviews were via video chime calls.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Describe a time you were in a meeting, and you disagreed with everyone else. How did you handle the situation?
Describe a time when you had to make a decision but didn’t have all the information needed and readily available to make that decision. What did you do and why?
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
