Interview
There are 5 rounds to get in.
The first one is to check your basic communication skills which will be taken by an HR.
The second round will be a basic grammar written test for which the result will be known immediately.
The third round is a versant round(online) where in you will be required to listen and type as you hear with the punctuation marks. Fill in the blanks for incomplete sentences. Re-write a paragraph in your own words that you hear and the last section being composing an E-mail for which the topic will be given to you then and there and you have to complete the composition with proper grammar and should be able to include the points that are given to you for the topic.
If you complete your test quickly then you will be requested to attend a mock chat with one of the HR's in which a test scenario of a customer will be given and you will be tested on how you handle the query of the customer.
The last round is the HR Round where-in 30-35 questions will be asked ranging from your career ambitions to your personal interests and a few customer scenarios. This will be the longest round with the goal to find out if you are going to work at Amazon for 1-2 years.

Customer Scenario: Customer orders a birthday gift for her sister to be delivered in 2 days so that they can give it to her on time. However the product is late by another 2 days from the expected delivery date and the customer is really irate with the situation as she has not been able to gift the item because of the delay. How would you handle this situation.

Interview
The interview process included an assessment and if you qualify for the assessment, a direct video based interview will be scheduled. They mainly observe the body language, patience, keeping their camera off mostly and with some simple question.

It was an informal telephone interview where they ask casual questions and provides time to ask them questions regarding the job. If all is fine, they will offer you to sign the contract and will tell you an approximate start date.
