I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Fremont, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process was cool. I applied online but forgot to submit my assessment. A recruiter reached out to me and told me I needed to submit an assessment to be considered. I appreciated that as most jobs if you forget or don't complete a part of the app you're just rejected. I completed the assessment and in about a two weeks I got an email to set up an interview via Amazon Chime. The team sent over a interview prep packet and some info about the company. I found it useful. Once interview day came, I first spoke with a recruiter with other potential candidates for about 15 minutes. We just talked about who we were, graduation date, interesting facts, to get the interview jitters out.Afterwards I had two separate interview calls. Both calls we discussed questions related the Amazon principles. Interview was real straightforward.

Question 1
Name a time you had to work with a deadline and did you meet the deadline? What would you do the same or differently?
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.

Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
