I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2015
Interview
it was great experience. reading the experience here is very beneficial. No hard questions are asked. A lot of case and behavior questions. one person asked me to solve a optimization problem, One asked me to write sql code, which I did not fully get the answer. But they are satisfied with my performance and give me an offer.
It was difficult, I had to give 10 rounds like on an avg it has 7 but I had to give 10 as the role that I was initially interviewing for closed due to low budget but then I gave another 3 for other department

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Sep 2023
Interview
6 interviews over a span of 1.5 months. No feedback given. Interviewers re-scheduled calls multiple times. One interviewer did not even join the call and I had be in the call for an hour - no help received from recruitment team. The last interviewer indirectly said that I would be rejected even if I performed well. Finally, HR took 2 weeks to respond back after me reaching out multiple times. They gave me an offer of one level below what I was interviewing for which was clearly a budget cut move. Super unprofessional.
