Had an interview with hiring manager. Then moved to a 4 round interview process. Asked me questions about past experiences in a story telling fashion. Prepare at least 2 stories for each leadership principle.

Question 1
Tell me about one time you provided a service your client did not know it needed.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Pretty good experience. Recruiter prepared me for the interview and provided tips in preparing and answering interview questions. The phone interview was what I expected based on the recruiters description.

Question 1
Describe a time when you solved a complex problem.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England)
Interview
Initial screening with hiring manager, then 5 loop rounds entirely focused on behavioural questions rooted in Amazons leadership principles (aside from one where I was asked some general questions about my experience). It required a huge amount of preparation. Process ended up being split up across 3 days due to annual leave which was the most stressful thing about it. Didn’t get an offer, but received helpful and positive overall feedback, was told I was just too junior for the role.
