MI applied Online sometime in January, received an invitation, and completed a video interview a few weeks later. About two months later in May I was contacted to do a face-to-face interview. They fly you out for the day, after you arrive we take a shuttle from the airport to their training center in Houston. I sat in the lobby for about an hour talking to other potential candidates. After that they brought us all into a room where we sat at tables and filled out a piece of paper that asked us a short essay question. Once everyone arrived the Recruiters who were flight attendants themselves gave a short introduction and then we played a game of "who's who's". After the ice breaker they split everyone into groups of about 6 or 7; you go into a room with two recruiters who ask everyone the same two questions and then one question randomly slected from a card. After that you go back into the main room with everyone else and view a presentation about the company, pay scale, and what to expect in your first few weeks. They kept saying, "we're switching it up, because of glassdoor and other sites". But honestly I think they are just saying that. Also another thing they kept saying, was nobody will find out today. What they really mean by that is "nobody will find out they are rejected today." After the short group interview, if they don't call you back for a face-to-face, and they walk you straight to the door with the shuttle, you will not get an offer. Don't bother listening to them, when they tell you you will hear back in 1 to 2 weeks, yes you will hear back, but it will be a "thanks but no thanks email". Even if you do get a one-on-one you still might not be selected. I wish they would be more honest, and not leave the candidates to believe they have a chance when in actuality they don't. Overall I met great people, who I traded contact info with. It was a good experience, and I will try again.
