I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines in Jan 2014
Interview
I applied online in late December/early January and received an email on the 27th of January as an invitation to the next step- a video interview. From when they send the email, they give you five days to complete it. I completed the video interview on January 30th, and received an email the next day regarding, "Job Requisition Title, Description and Qualifications Updates." I haven't heard back since, but am eager to know if I will pass on to the next step!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask basic questions along these lines: Why American Airlines? What do you know about the company? What kind of customer service do you have? What qualities do you possess that would make you a strong candidate for the job? They also ask: Tell me about a time you received great customer service? and, Tell me about a time you had difficulty working in a group? Again, those are not word-for-word but close enough.
