I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
Just interviewed in October 2022. Had initial group video interview which basically lasted 10 min. Each of us in panel were asked like two questions. Face to face was different then I had read online here a bit. It lasted maybe 4 hours before I had the one on one interview at the end which I was verbally told I got the job,,. Once that happened we were escorted to a place where we had to wait in line for drug (urine) test. For anyone out there wondering... no you will not be able to fake that lol. Had to pee in two cups, one at a time and fill both lol. Many of us had to chug sodas and water after first cup, could not fill second so we had to wait till we could go again, fingerprints done on site as well. I would say overall it was nice, all recruiters were very professional and I could tell they were looking for specific personality traits so bottom line you either have it or you don't. Just about every question they had asked me and people in my group was "what would you do" in relation to angry or upset customers... I think they look for someone who is genuine and upbeat and positive outlook. Don't be too pushy, eager.. stay kind of in the middle but not overbearing or too shy. Did have to do reach test, can wear heels if that helps!! I got offered the job, very next day started receiving emails. I think everything is done very professional!
