I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Fort Worth, TX) in Aug 2015
Interview
They will fly you out to their training center. Will split into groups of 7-8 to do group activity which was really enjoyable and fun. At this point, the recruiters are watching every move, so make sure you represent yourself at best and keep it natural! After this section, they will each call you by name and go into a separate room with group of 6 to do an individual interview. Make sure you practice and read over the questions they might ask you. Having customer service experiences in the past will make it easier for you to answer most questions. After this part is done, you are all done for the interview part! If they want to move on to the next step, they will finger print you and start the process of the background check. I was very nervous the entire time, but make sure you smile and be relaxed. All the AA recruiters are REALLY NICE!!! Compared to all of the other airlines, these ladies were the kindest ones out of all, which made the interview process very comfortable.
