      Reliability Engineering Intern Interview

      Oct 28, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Wilmington, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Wilmington, MA) in May 2019

      Interview

My interview for the role was on longer side and it dealt more with technical questions as well as going into depth on projects and previous work. They asked the basics of how a transistor works and what each part of the three pins means and how it can be used. For example, it can be used in the high pass, low, or bandwidth filter. The interview schedule was three different stages throughout the 4 hours. The first part was a a interview with an engineer that asked the transistor questions and then the 2nd part was meeting the reliability engineering group where they asked about previous projects and also technical questions like how a for loop works and how wiring works and others questions. Then the last stage was with the project manager/engineer that lead the project and explained the basics of how everything works and wants to see my interest in a current project is done. I would say try to be open to learning but also be confident in what you already know

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

"How does a For Loop work?" "What are the different configurations that a transistor can be positioned and what do all of the configurations do?" "What makes you a good fit for the job"
