I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (Solihull, England) in May 2019
Interview
I was first approached by the talent acquisition team, which helped me arranging the interview and made the process smooth.
The interview was conducted in a rather hostile environment, particularly from one of the interviewers, which were far more interested in my technical knowledge than in the skills I could bring to the company. That was put in place through a series of 3rd grade non-stop questions to try and find any possible gap in knowledge/make me nervous, etc., at which point I lost interest in the position/working for Arup any longer.
I was almost ridiculed when I responded what my salary expectations were (although I previously discussed that with the HR representative), and confirmed they usually offer a much lower income than their main competitors.

The interview went okay but the interviewer came across a little bit of arrogant to show off his technical knowledge. When I told him my multi disciplinary background, he showed zero interest and not appreciate your previous experience.
