      I interviewed at Autodesk

      Interview

Recruiter Call (30 mins): The first call was with an early career recruiter who asked general behavioral questions, verified resume details, and explained the internship program. They asked why I was interested in Autodesk, what I was looking for in an internship, and some high-level questions about my experiences. First Technical Product Interview (45 mins): This was a structured conversation with a product manager. It focused on how I approach product thinking. Questions included: – Tell me about a product you love and why – Walk me through how you would improve Autodesk's onboarding experience – How do you prioritize features if your team is limited in resources? The interviewer was friendly and gave me space to think aloud. They were more interested in my thought process than a "right" answer. Second Technical/Product Interview (45 mins): This round was more scenario-based. I was given a hypothetical product problem related to design or user experience (relevant to Autodesk's products) and had to talk through how I’d tackle it from research to MVP. They also asked how I work cross-functionally with engineering/design.

Recruiter was very unprofessional. Came too late and then asked me to rescheduling and I was really surprised how unprofessional he behaved. How must be the company be when even the interview was unprofessional

      I interviewed at Autodesk

      Interview

I interviewed with them for about two months, from HR screening up to panel interview after a time-intensive assignment. ( which does not take 3-4 hours as they suggest, unless you were already very familiar with the AEC industry and their competitors ) During the final review, I was told the team 'moves fast' once they find a fit and to expect an answer within days. Unfortunately, my follow-ups after one and two weeks were ignored. I eventually received a generic rejection email. When I requested specific feedback—given the two-month time investment and the assignment I had completed—my request was ignored. While the team seemed nice during the interviews, the lack of transparency and respect for a candidate's time at the finish line was very disappointing.

      Interview

First, you complete a screening interview with the talent acquisition lead over a video call, who is recording the meeting. After, if they find your skills and experience align with the job description, the transcript of the meeting is sent over to the hiring manager for consideration.
