I applied online. I interviewed at Backbase in Sep 2020
Interview
It was very dynamic and targeted.
1st with the recruiter, then with the manager, and finally a case study.
So it's not that kind of process where you need to go through 5...6 interviews and in the final step you barely remember what was it all about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about practical stuff. Very operational orientated approach.
Initial calls with the talent team, followed by hiring manager, then a case presentation for a specific scenario. In general the process was clear, prompt, positive and high energy. I took this role over an alternative company largely due to the energy in the room.

Interview
Over the past two months, I went through eight rounds of interviews for a role I was deeply invested in. Each stage required preparation, case study work, and operational discussions—and I gave it my full commitment.
After the final round, I was told the feedback was positive, but also advised not to wait for an offer as the company continues interviewing others.
It wasn’t the outcome I had hoped for, yet the journey itself taught me a lot. I learned the value of resilience, the importance of showing up prepared, and the strength that comes from giving your best even when the result is uncertain.
Sometimes, the process becomes the reward—sharpening skills, broadening perspective, and reinforcing dedication to growth. I’m grateful for the experience and remain open to opportunities where I can bring the same energy, focus, and perseverance.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase (Aventura, FL) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process is clear from the first moment. I had a very good experience with the recruiter. She explained the process which is three-interview, one at each step. The second interview with a Delivery Director was comfortable.
