I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2010
Interview
Bain was on campus several times for information sessions and I was able to get to know various AC's through them. The hiring process all took place through my university's career portal. I was very promptly notified of interview selections and the process was very easy to navigate. The interviewers were very supportive and friendly and genuinely seemed interested in talking to you. The cases very difficult, but what you would expect going into an interview with Bain. I was able to make it to second round of interviews and was met with an overall positive experience. I would recommend doing as many practice cases as you possibly can.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you were able to influence or motivate a team.
Stattdessen Reaktionsfragen à la „Wie würdest du in Situation XYZ reagieren?". Mit solider Vorbereitung nichts Unerwartetes. Alle Interviewer sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen — angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre throughout.
2 rounds of 3 interviews.
The first round includes a fit interview.
All interviews feel very relaxed, but they still expect you to move through the case fast and in a structured way.
