A recruiter from the staffing company Honey Bee Tech contacted me, claiming they were looking for an Angular and Spring Boot developer. We agreed to move forward with an interview. The interview was F2F at the office. To my surprise, it had zero Angular involved. It was 100% Spring Boot and Java, completely contradicting what the recruiter told me.
To make things worse, the panel asked pointless, irrelevant Java questions that no real backend developer would ever use in practical work. It clearly felt like they were deliberately choosing the most out of the box topics just to show off and act superior, rather than actually assessing useful skills.
On top of that, I was left waiting for two hours in the office lobby before the interview even started. That alone shows how disorganized and pathetic this company’s management is. They don’t care at all about the applicant’s time, the effort it takes to apply for leaves and travel long distances even before an offer is made. The whole experience was a complete waste of time and effort.
