I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Balfour Beatty (Stillwater, OK) in Mar 2013
Interview
When I first interviewed with Balfour it was for an intern position. The two interviewers were very relaxed and made the interview seem more like we were just having a conversation. They asked the typical questions like, why I wanted to be in construction. After the interview they gave me some free stuff like most companies do that are hiring interns. It took close to a month before I heard back from there HR department. That what the only thing throughout the whole process that was a little disappointing. I have heard that is the average wait time but I was anxious to hear back since I assumed my interview went so well. I did not have an interview for my full time employment they just offered me after my internship.

Interview
It’s a simple interview process, barely asked any questions relating to the role. Two stage interview process, first on teams and the other in person. From application to offer was under 2 weeks.
Interview mostly had to do with my previous experiences and what I can expect at the company. It was in person and there were two senior engineers involved. Overall it was a decent interview with much emphasis on the project.

Interview
Ridiculous, Psychometric test bordering on astrology for a pot luck at moving on to the next stage with a follow up email to tell you how useless and lazy you are. Dont bother wasting your time with this disrespectful company.
No chance to showcase my experiences and abilities, Ruled out by a computer that clearly knows better than any human yet again.
