I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (King of Prussia, PA) in Mar 2014
Interview
There are two steps. First is a career briefing where you are told very few details about the position. Then if you say you are interested, you get a 2nd group interview where you are told only slightly more about the position. You can ask questions, but to be fair, most of them are discouraged. After you sign up to join the company, you pay $100 to study for you state license exam. After you pass that, you can enter the next training class.
Other Insurance Agent Interview Reviews for Bankers Life
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
