The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy in Sep 2011
Interview
I got 2 phone calls prior to my interview just scheduling my interview, i was reffered by an employee(this is the easiest way to get your application noticed). When i went in they called it my second interview. They asked me basic questions, such as- Explain a time when you went that extra mile and why?, Name a time when you were not the leader but rose to being a leader instead. They also gave me the shrink question about if u catch an employee stealing-what would you do, i said 'report it to a manager" then my interviewer asked what would you say and why. i answered "i would tell him i saw this employee doing suspicious activity" and then the next part i said blew my interview- I added that he should get a second chance if it were a minor item. I later found out that was the exact reason i didnt receive the job. They also asked me what super power i'd want if i could have any one. It was a pretty easy interview but lasted me about 30 minutes or so.

Question 1
What would you do if you saw an employee stealing candy or headphones?
Was not hard. Asked simple behavioural questions and wanted to grasp if I could handle high-pressured environments to be able to handle work on days such as Black Friday. Mostly just talked about my past experience in retail!
It wasn’t bad at all. It was just a few quick questions about my past experience and whether or not I would be able to work part or full time, stuff like that.
